Diaphragm pumps move fluids more slowly than centrifugal pumps, but can handle mud and larger amounts of solids including abrasive materials. They also tolerate air being drawn into the pump, and can be run dry without damage. Diaphragm pumps are widely used on construction sites to control seepage in excavations, and for pumping septic systems and operating well point systems. this unit comes with a 20' intake hose and a 50' discharge hose. Additional discharge hoses available for rent.
